Weekend Update

Here’s what happened during my extremely busy weekend.

Friday…
Toga! Toga! Toga! Toga! Toga party at 322! This was a blast! We all made some togas, went to 322, danced, drank, and otherwise had a good ole time. It was a pre-IU-victory party and it was an awesome way to do it. Props to the guys (and gals) of 322 for hosting.

Saturday…
Marathon at the stadium day. It was Band Day 2003… woo…
The “game sequence” started on an awesome note with powerplay. It was a good time and everyone seemed to enjoy it. When we got into the stadium, things started going wrong. Coach DiNardo kept the team on the field ten minutes more than they were supposed to be out there. With Opening Day festivities, there wasn’t an extra ten minutes for him to be out there. The Indiana State University Marching Sycamores (yes, the Sycamores… how they can fight and/or march is unknown to me) were able to perform their pre-game show; however, the Hundred wasn’t so lucky. Our show got cut to the last formation, Star Spangled Banner, and then IOI and off the field. Yea… needless to say, most everyone was pissed… The game had a favorable outcome, IU won. Probably the only game that we will win this season, but whatever.

That night, some of us went to Beth’s and watched Super Troopers. We ordered a pizza and ate dinner, watched a movie/napped and then went home so we could get a whole four hours of sleep.

Sunday…
Bright and Early… 7:00am, stadium clean-up… Not so much fun really. We were able to get it done earlier than usual, but it still wasn’t too much fun. After the clean-up, we went to Denny’s. That was a good time. The rest of the day was full of sleeping and sleeping. I didn’t have to work the Monday morning graveyard this week because Scott took it from me as a sub. I will have to work it next week, though, which means that I will be extremely exhausted when it comes to the KKPsi meeting that evening.

Monday…
Nothing fun really, just class, Psi meeting and a good time at Steak ‘n’ Shake.

That brings us to Today, when I woke up late for class, had to run to the business school, sit in class, came home, took a nap, ate breakfast, played some Quake III… that’s about it. I’ve still got Hundred and work this evening.

That’s all I got for now…

What I see out my window
It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day for a neighbor… Won’t you be mine 🙂
