Thomas Luke Mason… That’s me.
I’m a graduate of Indiana University with a BS in Informatics with a cognate in Business and a minor in Spanish. I live in Bloomington Indiana, where IU is located. I was born in Muncie Indiana February 2, 1982 at Ball Memorial Hospital, but spent my pre-college life in Shelbyville Indiana. The highlight of my high school career was being selected to be the Drum Major for the school’s Marching Band.
I have worked as an Assistant Funeral Director at Carmony-Ewing Funeral Homes in Shelbyville Indiana and as Support Staff for University Information Technology Services – Student Technology Consulting (UITS-STC). I spent six summers dedicating my time and service to the Crossroads of America Council, Boy Scouts of America as the High Adventure Director for Ransburg Boy Scout Reservation in Bloomington Indiana. Each summer, I facilitated a Project C.O.P.E. course (High and Low Ropes Course), supervised the operation of a climbing tower and a week-long trek program. I am a trained Climbing Director and Project C.O.P.E. Director in the Boy Scouts of America.
I am currently employed by IT Training and Education through University Information Technology Services at Indiana University. I am an Education Specialist. I started working full-time for IT Training and Education at the beginning of November, 2006.
My hobbies are rock climbing, backpacking, hiking, spelunking, canoeing and almost anything related to technology and the internet.
